Autumn Inspired Viking Outfit

It wasn't my intention to make a fall outfit, especially in July and during a crazy heatwave,  but as it came together it made me think more and more of bright,  crunchy leaves.  Maybe wishful thinking,  as it's supposed to be over 100 and super humid today.

The underdress is apricot colored lightweight linen with a little machine embroidery at the neck and cuffs.   The apron is a heavier olive linen with silk bands at the bust and hem and some machine top stitching.

The brooch jewelry is made of glass beads, silver and bronze metal beads and amber chips.  The key and separators were pieces that I was sitting on for awhile for another dress,  but as I'm about to go to Pennsic: Land of Shopping, I figured that I could find something suitable there.  The silver stags and central focal are from Legends Gardarike in Russia (also on Etsy).

The necklaces are amber chip, amber beads with silver and carnelians with bronze.

It's nice to have something super fancy to wear during the summer.  My other "nice" outfit is reserved for crown and is a little warm for August.

Down to two weeks!  Can't wait to go!
